President Bush Reduces The Size of the Army Reserve
President Bush'snew plan is to reduce the size of the Army Reserve. It will be the lowest level it has had in three decades, and it will take away $4 billion from two fighter aircraft programs. The broad idea of this plan is to achieve a new balance of troop strength and combat power among the Army, and the National Guard.
During a racing pigeon show in Poland the roof of the Fair Building in which the event was being held,collapsed. 66 people were killed and 160 were injured. Rescue workers say they do not excpect there to be anymore survivors.
